Life's Ups and Downs
1 week passed by in a flash. I didn't have the chance to meet up with some of my friends.
I only met up with Grace and Debra at The Spring.
(Service at Sushi King sucked. Berrax and I waited for about 45 minutes just to get our Ona Don >:( )
Oh, speaking of The Spring, it seemed to have expanded (haha yea I'm outdated >>bagai katak di bawah Tupperware)
There are shops at the top floor where MBO is situated.
Come to think of it, MBO looks kinda small..
Maybe cos I'm too used to GSC Midvalley :P
Ah well.. Gone were the days where a movie ticket only costs RM8/RM9 and RM5 on Wednesdays and Tuesdays(for ladies).
Managed to swing by Boulevard as well during the first weekend I was in Kuching.
That too, my friend, has expanded.
But the top floor looks like a warehouse with air conditioning.
This is actually supposed to be split into 2 posts but I'm lazy so it has been compiled and edited to become 1.
After my final paper on Thursday, we went out to Midvalley (and Gardens). Jas and I went to the Gardens and got lost while looking for the K-box. Haha. But I found the most spectacular view of the city at night! At the top floor of The Gardens!
After that went to catch A Christmas Carol (refer to previous post).
There was a episode at the airport the next day.
I didn't know there was a drastic decrease of taxis coming into UM during a public holiday. I kid you not.
There was absolutely no taxi while I was waiting for Brandon and Neysa at the bus stop in front of First College.
Luckily one came cun cun when Brandon and Neysa were down already.
Reached KL Sentral and had to rush to buy my KLIA Express ticket.
I had about 30 minutes to check in when I reached KLIA. (Yea, I know it was kind of late already)
I have no idea there was actually an express check-in counter that opened for my flight (since they only announce it once and that would probably be before I arrived at the Check-in counters)
Due to my foolishness, I waited at line together with the other people who came to check-in for a different flight.
Once it was my turn, it was already 9.55 am, 10 minutes more to my flight.
I got annoyed at the dude at the counter. He scolded me. Yea and that is what you called PUBLIC RELATIONS huh?
In the end I had to buy a new ticket.
An open ticket.
For full price.
........
Mind you, I'm talking about MAS here. So yeah.. This would be the 2nd time I'm not in good terms with MAS.
The first would be when I was booking my ticket online and they didn't receive my payment.
Goodness. Calling them alone wasted like about RM25 of my credit.
But then again, they served these inflight:
Okay, at least now I know where my money went to.
And this flight gets me to Kuching (ways to console myself) so okay, wth with paying full price.
